Santa Ana Boxing Academy Owner Accused of Molesting Teen Girls

SANTA ANA (CNS) - The owner of a boxing club in Santa Ana was arrested today on suspicion of molesting two 13-year-old girls, police said.

Edgar Ferraez Rivera, 45, of Riverside, was being held on $500,000 bail, according to Santa Ana police Cpl. Anthony Bertagna, who said the suspect owns So Cal Boxing Academy and coaches boxers there.

The most recent alleged victim told police he molested her while she was training at the boxing academy, Bertagna said.

Rivera was arrested in 2017 when another 13-year-old girl alleged he had molested her, but prosecutors declined to file charges then, the corporal said.
